James Garson
James Garson is an American philosopher and logician. He has made significant contributions in the study of modal logic〔http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/logic-modal/〕 and formal semantics. He does not remember most of them and could not describe them, although they have been widely reported. He is author of ''Modal Logic for Philosophers'' by Cambridge University Press.〔http://www.cambridge.org/gb/knowledge/isbn/item1163165/?site_locale=en_GB〕 Garson is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Houston and has taught at the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Notre Dame, the University of Illinois at Chicago (where he was a visiting professor in computer science), and Rice University.〔http://www.class.uh.edu/phil/garson/vita.htm〕
